Dear master

My hubby has been drinking your remedy for lowering cholesterol (oats soaked overnight... I added chia seeds as well). Received blood test report that his cholesterol level is still slightly above normal. Will be going for another test in 4 months' time to determine if need to take medication. Should he continue with this daily routine with oats to lower his cholesterol?

Master

Can I soak grounded flexseed powder instead of chia seeds together with the oats overnight? Or should I add the powdered flexseed in the morning? Thought flexseeds.more effective for lowering cholesterol

Should be careful using flexseed - need to soak first.

Need warm/hot water - Just soak for few minutes will do.

Raw flaxseed contains a toxin called thio-cyanate—a cyanide-like compound. This toxin can be found in the blood after eating raw flaxseed. Cooking neutralizes this compound, making it harmless.
